Rummage sale in Potsdam nets $2,350 to benefit Syrian refugees

To everyone who contributed to the New Hope Community Church rummage sale Nov. 5, 6, and 7 in Potsdam, we thank you.

The sale was a big success, netting $2,350, which will go directly to Syrian refugee aid through a church contact in Croatia. So many community members came to our doors, bringing donations or coming to buy something.

Many of you just came with a donation of money to give towards our cause! To those who spent many hours setting up, folding clothes, and cleaning up afterwards, your work yielded much, thank you.

To you who came to our doors to give and encourage and share our support for brothers and sisters in this tragic exodus of Syrians, we thank you.
