To the Editor:
Thank you very much for taking the time to let me introduce myself. I am a lifelong resident of Stockholm and have been married to my wife, Cathy for 37 years. Our two children, Nathan & Sandina along with their spouses have also chosen to raise their families in the Town of Stockholm. The Rufa family has owned and operated family businesses in the Town of Stockholm for many years.
After 30 years at Alcoa, I am finally enjoying my retirement. Being retired allows me the opportunity to have the time to serve the Town on a local level as a Board Member.
I feel it is time to give back to the community that I grew up in. My goal is to help maintain this Town with its small town, safe, friendly atmosphere for families to raise their children.
If anyone is going to be out of the county or unable to get to the polls or knows of anyone away at college please contact me for an absentee ballot at 389-5544.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve you for the next four years.
Be sure to vote on Election Day, Nov. 8. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Again, I would appreciate your support on Election Day.
