To the Editor:
For more than twenty-one years I had the privilege of serving as a Supreme Court Justice in the sprawling Fourth Judicial District of Northern New York. My retirement means that the voters will have a chance to elect my successor. I urge the voters to make Mary Farley their first choice when they go to the polls on November 3rd.
Mary has been my Law Clerk for all of those twenty-one years and she knows the court system inside out. She is, without a doubt, the most qualified candidate for Supreme Court Justice on the ballot.
As my assistant she has demonstrated a remarkable work ethic, a compassion for litigants who often are stressed by the need to be before the court and a ready willingness to help guide attorneys through sometimes difficult processes.
Mary is ethical, sincere and judicious. Her election will insure that citizens throughout the District will have access to a local Justice. It is imperative that we have a Justice who will live and work in St. Lawrence County and Mary is the only candidate committed to do that.
Please vote on Election Day and join me in voting for Mary Farley for Supreme Court Justice. Thank you.
