To the Editor:

Soon we will be electing officials to help run our local government. One of these races is for St Lawrence County Clerk. As a voter you should be looking for a person that will save the county money as well as continue to find ways to generate revenue.

For me that person is Gavin Regan. From the beginning Gavin has looked to be fiscally responsible. He made the decision to cut his staff by one to save money. Following that Gavin stepped in and picked up some of the workload himself. He has become a hands on County Clerk. While working on the day to day operations he has also gone out and continued to recruit new car dealerships to use our DMV to do their documentation.

Gavin has shown his organizational skills and sensitivity to the public of St. Lawrence County. He has been open to trying different schedules at the DMV offices. One example is the “Office on the Move”. Gavin understands the needs of the public and is willing to accommodate them while still maintaining a financially sound office.

If you want to keep St. Lawrence County cost in check you want to vote for Gavin Regan. If you want an energetic and innovative County Clerk that will look for new ways to generate revenue and accommodate the needs of the people you want to vote for Gavin Regan.

Because of these reasons I will be voting for Gavin Regan. I hope you want to support sound financial decisions and chose to vote for Gavin also.
