Examine the resumes of the two candidates for County Clerk and it's easy to see that Gavin Regan is way ahead of Mrs. Rupp.

With a degee in Business Administration and Accounting; over 20 years of working in Banking and Finance, most of that working one-on-one with over 200 satisfied clients; the opportunity to help construct and administer a $2 million budget during his tenure as General Manager of the USA Women"s Olympic Hockey Team, coupled with the people skills needed to adjudicate numerous hockey disputes throughout N.Y. State in his role as NY State's representative to USA hockey made him well prepared for the County Clerk's job.

His performance during his 8 month tenure of reducing costs and increasing revenues speaks for itself. His detailed and professional reports to the County Legislators prove just that.

When Republican county workers in other departments write of how Regan's innovative ideas of shared service have saved thousands of dollars, we need to take notice.

When Arlene Murphy, a Massena DMV worker says: "Having worked for four County Clerks, I can say working with Gavin Regan has been the most favorable and fairest. Since March we have seen more of him in Massena than we saw of the last two clerks in 10 years. And driving his own vehicle, I may add." , we should listen.

Gavin Regan has the desire, education, work background and people skills to be a superior County Clerk . Forget partisanship! Think of who can most enrich the County' coffers. Vote for Regan.
