To the Editor:
I would like to thank the Potsdam Public Works Department for responding so quickly to our frozen water pipes.
When I called they told me it would be a while before someone could come by because we were about the 30th to call that morning.
They did stop by just to see what they were dealing with and returned that afternoon to get the water working.
Unfortunately they were unable to fix it on Monday but first thing Tuesday morning they came back and got the water working within 30 minutes.
In addition I would like to thank Colton/South Colton Water Dept. for helping Potsdam in getting us up and working so quickly.
Thank you for a job well done!
