The Friends of the Norwood Public recently hosted “An Evening With a Psychic Medium” fundraiser, at the Norwood American Legion.
It was a fun and productive evening; all proceeds will benefit many interesting programs that the library offers our small community.
This event would not have been possible without generous donations and contributions from our business community and individuals. First off, thanks to Belle Salisbury, from North Carolina, who graciously gave of her time and spiritual gift to assist our cause.
Also, to Carolynn Halford and the Ashley House, who as usual, went above and beyond what was asked. We would also like to acknowledge Elaine Saarinen, and the Norwood American Legion for providing us with an excellent venue for the evening.
We are very appreciative of the donations that were provided by: Theresa Robinson (Tree’s Treasures,) Kris Rozelle, Ellen MacMaster (embears,) Cornerstone Services, Bob’s Auto, Orchestra of Northern New York, Paula Youmell, Judy Toporcer Penski, Kathy Hartman, Kristen Ashley (Sugar Valley Bakery,) Ashley House, Best Friends Thrift Shop, Perry’s Market, Shear Creations, Laurie’s Casual Cuts, Norwood Sunoco, Norfolk Bakery, and 3 Bears Gluten free Bakery.
Thanks also to everyone who participated, baked, sold tickets, set up, cleaned up, and attended to all of the tasks that make a fundraiser successful. I apologize if we inadvertently left anyone out.
It is always heartening to see the response of the community in support of our terrific library. It is truly the hub of the village, and continues to expand and improve services for all of us.
