To the Editor:
This year there are three Democratic candidates running for two open seats on the Potsdam Town Board. This means there is a Democratic primary election for registered Democrats in the town of Potsdam to decide who the two Democratic Party candidates will be in November.
If you are a registered Democrat in the Town of Potsdam (this includes the villages of Potsdam and Norwood) please mark your calendars for the primary election. It will be held Thursday, Sept. 10. All election districts will be voting at the Potsdam Town Hall from noon until 9 p.m. This is the only race on the ballot.
I have served as a councilwoman the past four years and I have learned a great deal about local governance. I am willing to put in the time that is needed, actively listen, and work with others. I would like the opportunity to serve the residents of Potsdam for another term.
Please remind all those you know who are registered Democrats in the Town of Potsdam to come and vote Sept. 10 between noon and 9 p.m. at the Potsdam Town Hall and to cast a vote for me.
