To the Editor:

Potsdam Neighborhood Church is a place to grow, to interact, to ask questions, and to find answers. The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in the door is that we don’t look like other churches … we’re a little bit different. We have a small, comfortable building on Route 56 between Potsdam and Norwood that features living-room style amenities, a small kitchen area, and room to accommodate up to 50 people at once.

And starting in the next few weeks, we are taking PNC in a whole new direction. One focused on small, lively discussion groups centered on topics that matter in today’s world – all the while seeking the truth of the Bible as God’s living word to mankind. We’re taking the focus off the Sunday worship service and opening the doors on Friday nights for group discussions and activities.

We welcome Christians as well as those in search of stability in a topsy-turvy world. Maybe you’ve had a bad experience in a church, or maybe you just sort of “dropped out” of Christian worship at some point. Or maybe you have no idea what Christianity is all about. No matter what your situation, PNC welcomes you to our comfortable little building on Route 56 between Potsdam and Norwood. We’re a place for question – and for answers.

Starting Friday, April 1, our monthly “First Friday” evening discussion groups are open to all and will focus on topics related to the general question: Why should I believe? And our “Third Friday” evening discussion groups will key on the modern church: What are we doing right … and what are we doing not so right?

In addition, we will be hosting movie nights, game nights, trivia nights, open mic nights, guest speakers, and open houses. Everyone is welcome!
