Potsdam Hospital Guild thankful for community support

To the Editor:

Health Care Auxilian Day is May 6 as proclaimed by Governor Cuomo for the New York State. Canton-Potsdam Hospital extends its appreciation to the Potsdam Hospital Guild for contributing more than $300,000 in just the past 5 years.

Those contributions have been used to purchase equipment for Ambulatory Surgery, Imaging Services, Occupation Therapy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab Departments as well as Diabetes Education.

In addition, they provide scholarships to nursing students and CPH employees and continue to fulfill their $75,000 pledge to the Cancer Treatment Center. The guild is proud to provide service to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital and its patients and to assist in promoting the health and welfare of the community in accordance with the goals of the Hospital.

We would like to thank the community for their continued support.

The Potsdam Hospital Guild’s annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at Sergi’s Restaurant in Potsdam in the banquet hall. The evening will begin with a social half hour at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and meeting to follow. Dinner is $20 plus tax and tip.
