Potsdam family thankful for compassion of Hospice, nursing homes during difficult time

To the Editor:

At this sad time of loss we wish to take this opportunity and thank Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley for their incredible expertise, compassion and empathy to our brother Philip Brazee and also to our family.

Nancy, Elaine, Brandy, Tracy and Jill - we/he would have been lost without your support and guidance during the last days of our brother’s life.

His cancer journey was long and hard fought. These caring nurses and staff laid many of our fears to rest and assisted far beyond the call of duty.

St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Ogdensburg and St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena were also very kind and helpful during such difficult times.

Special thanks to Kim Jacks from St. Regis. You met our needs in a prompt manner and we are forever grateful. The staff was so loving and caring as well.

We thank you all and advocate supporting these wonderful organizations in any way you can. Should you ever need their services they are top notch and then some.

Cancer touches far too many lives and families. But if you and yours should ever need help you can count on them being there for you every step of the way.

Amber Lindsey, Sharon Tucker, Steve Brazee and the family of Philip Brazee
