To the Editor:
The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Town & Gown/Community Relations Committee would like to thank the 200 volunteers who helped with our Pride in Potsdam Clean Up day on Saturday April 28.
We also send our deepest appreciation to the Village of Potsdam Public Works Department for their assistance as well as the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad for the use of their building. We wish to recognize Price Chopper for the donation of bottled water.
We also thank the Prescott family for volunteering their time. Clarkson University athletes were represented in the clean up this year by Men’s and Women’s Hockey, Basketball, Swimming, Cross Country, Alpine/Nordic skiing, and Women’s Soccer and Volleyball. SUNY Potsdam athletes were represented by Men’s Hockey and Basketball.
Fraternities and sororities were also well represented this year: Delta Tau Tau, Omega Delta Phi, Delta Kappa, Phi Mau Alpha, Alpha Delta Kappa, Delta lambda Nu.
We could not do this community service without your time, effort, and support.
