To the Editor:

I would like to thank Kerm’s in Seacomm Plaza for their wonderful customer service and accommodations recently.

In November I received a message from a dear friend letting me know that because of cancer treatments her hair was starting to fall out. She let me know that she would be going to Kerm’s that Saturday to have her head shaved.

As she told me this, automatically my wheels started to turn, and I decided that she couldn’t do this alone. After making phone calls to some friends, we all met that Saturday morning and waited for our dear friend to pull in to the parking lot. As she did, there were hugs, tears and many emotions.

As we all piled into Kerm’s to “cheer” on our friend, the staff at Kerm’s never blinked an eye to all these people piling into their shop. They not only went above and beyond by accommodating us, they also took time out of their busy schedule to apply teal streaks to our hair and a teal ribbon into the freshly shaved heads of my friend and her husband.

Kerm’s treated us with great respect while we were there. We are all thankful for what they did for us that day. If you have a chance to go to Kerm’s, please do, and I hope you have as great an experience as we did.
