To the Editor:
I would like to thank the Potsdam community for its overwhelming display of kindness during this year’s Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive.
From the local businesses that allowed us to set up collection stands to the volunteers who braved all kinds of weather conditions as bell-ringers, the support was amazing.
The generosity of everyone who stopped to put donations in the kettles was wonderful and will help many who are in need. You all were instrumental in making this year’s campaign a success!
I feel blessed to live in a community where so many care for those who are less fortunate.
