To the Editor:
The members of the Parishville Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank Toomey Brothers for donating 15 cords of wood and $100 to be used as raffle prizes.
The money raised from this raffle will be used to purchase a new fence for the softball field at the Firemen’s Field in Parishville.
Winners of the raffle were: 1st prize (10 cords of wood) Jon Davis, 2nd prize (5 cords of wood) Carl Sharlow, and 3rd prize ($100) Derek Vallance.
The generosity of the Toomey Brothers is appreciated in this effort to maintain an excellent softball field.
