To the Editor:
The Norwood-Norfolk-Raymondville Outreach would like to thank the Honor Society of the Norwood-Norfolk Central School for the placement boxes for non-perishable food at our local polling sites on Tuesday, Sept. 14. These boxes were delivered to our food pantry to be distributed to families during our Christmas program in December. Many thanks to all the students and Marcia Eggleston for the time they put into this. These food boxes will be placed again at our polling sites at our next election. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
Our outreach program this summer was also able to provide 631 pieces of school supplies for 88 of our school children. Our program is continually helping our neighbors and friends who reach out to us throughout the year. We are very fortunate to have caring and involved members in our community including schools, churches and businesses who help us take on this task, and it is greatly appreciated and needed.
Our Christmas applications will be out and available in October.
