To the Editor:

The family of Jim McFaddin would like to thank all who helped us through this very difficult time of Jim’s passing.

The outpouring of kind words, flowers, cards, donations, and food sent to Phyllis and the children helped to sustain us and begin the process of healing.

A special thank you to those who participated in Jim’s mass including Ernie LaBaff for his heartfelt eulogy and the Todd girls, Jillian and Shannon, for their remarkable rendition of “Danny Boy”.

Thank you to the Norwood police and fire departments for their vigilance and escort during the wake and funeral services. It was a very touching tribute to a man who had such great respect for the work of our emergency services.

Jim was a dedicated servant to the Norwood community that he loved and called home. We hope that all currently in public service and those who are called in the future will carry on his hard work and legacy.
