To the Editor,
I would like to thank the Waddington Fire Department and its Auxiliary for sponsoring a jamboree for me in August. What they say about “no one fighting alone” when they are given a cancer diagnosis is very true. If it were not for the support shown to my family and me by the North Country community, this journey would be more difficult to travel.
Families, friends, businesses, co-workers, and even strangers, donated their time, money, and gifts and I want to thank all of you for your generosity. I am proud to call the North Country my home – the residents here are the most caring on Earth.
