Opinion: Voters are sick of two-party paradigm, says Potsdam resident

To the Editor:

On Tuesday November 8th, 2016 “We the People” of New York’s Congressional District NY21 have a choice in electing a new congressional representative.

On that Tuesday voters have a chance to send a very loud and clear message to Washington D.C. stating many voters like myself are sick and tired of the two-party paradigm.

The current two-party system seems only to serve the multi-national corporations working together to keep us in national debt servitude and more disturbingly…perpetual warfare in numerous locations around the world.

On election day this this retired military combat veteran will certainly not be voting for either corporate war party candidate that has been selected and served up to the NY21 voting electorate.

On election Tuesday my support and vote will be going to Matt Funiciello the only non-career, non-corporate candidate (has not to my knowledge received any corporate contributions) that will work on behalf of all North Country residents.

Matt Funiciello is, and has been an actual resident of the North Country and a small business owner for many years that sincerely understands the economic hardships working middle class residents, and small business owners are now facing throughout his voting district of Northern New York. If you are also weary of the current two-party façade as I am, you have a choice and a voice in this upcoming election, and that choice and voice is clearly Matt Funiciello for NY21.

A veteran for Matt Funiciello.
