Our nation is the leader of the free world and plays an invaluable role in world affairs. Playing such an important role has made the United States a target from hostile foreign powers. It is, therefore, necessary to ensure our safety and security by properly funding our defense.
The East Coast Missile Defense System is a proposed plan to build an East Coast Missile Defense System site. This site would be able to intercept incoming threats to our country.
The project would cost $3.6 billion and create thousands of jobs to not only protect our country but stimulate our North Country economy.
Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has led a delegation of representatives to get the missile systems in New York at Fort Drum; this action shows that Elise cares about our nation’s defense and has and will fight for programs that benefit not only our district but also our nation.
The Democrat candidate for Congress is neutral on the East Coast Missile Defense System. We need a representative who will fight to get these valuable project to our districts. Former Representatives Bill Owens and John McHugh are supporters of the missile system being housed at Fort Drum, with so much support for the project I wonder why she is neutral on the matter.
According to recent interviews Tedra Cobb believes that climate change is the biggest threat to our national security! Not terrorists, not hostile foreign powers, not computer hackers, but climate change!
This November, vote in support of our defense, vote for jobs, vote for North Country activism, and vote for a proactive leader, vote for Elise Stefanik on Nov.6.
