Opinion: Vote Republican to have a voice in Washington, says Heuvelton resident

I’ll start with Cuomo, it’s time for him to be gone! Remember the Safe Act forced on us in the middle of the night. The only thing it has accomplished is making life more difficult for the law-abiding citizen.

Now we need recreational marijuana according to Cuomo, why? Oh yes more votes for the Democrats. Having taught school for 30 years I saw 8th graders using alcohol, is it going to be any different with recreational marijuana? Medical marijuana is one thing but recreational? Sanctuary state, more votes for the Democrats.

Taxin’ Tedra, we know where she stands on the second amendment, with the downstate Democrats. If the Democrats need more money just raise taxes. Elise looks out for upstate residents.

Addie, you remember her, voted with downstate Democrats for the Safe Act. Said “we knew it wasn’t good but it was the best we could do,” then why follow the downstate Democrats? Sided with Cuomo in the corruption scandals.

Vote Mark Walczyk, North Country boy, worked for Senator Patty Ritchie, officer in the Army Reserve, four-time ironman and Eagle Scout.

He’ll look out for the North Country! If you like being told what to by the downstate Democrats and can’t think for yourself then keep on voting Democrat.

If you are like me and want a voice in upstate then vote Republican. Get out and vote on Nov. 6.
