In response to “Health Care Repeal Will Only Benefit the Wealthy” which appeared in the May 10-16 issue of North Country This Week: I completely agree!
In fact, I'd like to add a bit to it - namely that she either forgot or wasn't aware yet that the AHCA proposal from the Trump and company still leaves many more millions of people without insurance, it costs more to administer, older people may pay magnitudes more for their coverage than they do today, and there is almost nothing in it that is for the middle income and low income populations.
The current health care isn't perfect, but it has none of the serious shortcomings of the one Trump wishes to force us into.
