To the Editor:
As a heat wave propels us into summer, the Potsdam Interfaith Thanksgiving Program will soon begin planning for 2016’s project to help local families enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
So many individuals and organizations worked with us in 2015 that we cannot name them all, but we do want to highlight some of those – representing a broad cross-section of the Potsdam community – who helped.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Potsdam United Methodist Church and Congregation Beth El. Church youth groups also participated.
Potsdam Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Potsdam Kiwanis student groups, National Honor Society and Junior Honor Society, Interact Club and Builders’ Club, Walgreen’s, Meadowbrook Dairy and Tim Horton’s.
Individuals young and old donated food items, time and money to make the 2015 program a success. We thank you all and look forward to working with you again in 2016.
