Opinion: Taxpayers should not pay for clean energy push, says Morristown man

To the Editor:

Let me start by letting everyone know I do not believe the global warming hoax being perpetuated upon the taxpayers. The fake science has been proven over and over. NOAA/NASA/IPCC have been caught red-handed fudging the numbers repeatedly.

Why do they find it necessary to do this? Money! Taxpayer funding is at stake. If there’s no factual evidence to support the myth they must create it. If there’s no factual evidence to support their studies then there’s no need to give them billions of taxpayer dollars for the study.

For every false “study,” at taxpayer expense, there are studies that show the opposite. The opposite studies are not taxpayer or special interest funded. These studies are the most reliable as money does not influence the truthful findings. I do believe we need to take care of the environment God gave us. This can be done without taxpayer funding.

Clean energy is one way we achieve this. However, this should not be done at taxpayer expense. Wind tower’s looking for sustained wind at taxpayer expense is unsustainable. If an industry cannot survive on its own two feet it should not exist. Without taxpayer funding the wind industry is unsustainable at this point and time. There will come a time that wind industry can stand alone when technology allows.

Until then we should stop paying billions and billions of taxpayer dollars for an industry that cannot stand alone. They should use the free market to succeed not the taxpayer dime! Remember Freddie and Franny.

The taxpayer funded housing lender’s that went bust at the cost of trillions not to mention the portfolio’s that were destroyed. This is what happens when we allow government to run businesses. The same is on the horizon for taxpayer funded wind power.

If your elected representatives believe they should use your money to sustain an unsustainable industry they must be replaced! If you believe the wind industry deserves to make money that is fine in a free market.

The problem here is the industry isn’t making a profit unless it is from the government mule, that is you! The wind industry wants sustained taxpayer dollars that is unsustainable as eventually you run out of other people’s money!
