To the Editor:
On behalf of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association I would like to thank everyone who helped to make our first ever History Hustle 5K Fun Run & Walk a success: the Village of Canton and Partridge Run Golf Course for allowing us to use the Remington Recreation Trail 5k course; Commercial Press Ink, Canton for designing and creating our “History Facts” signs; Arne’s Custom Printing in Gouverneur for making the t-shirts; and all of our generous sponsors including Commercial Press Ink; Country Quiet Bed & Breakfast; H.A. Rogers Insurance Agency, Inc.; Kinney Drugs; Morley History Group; North Country Savings bank; Price Chopper; and Save-A-Lot Food Stores.
I would also like to thank all of the volunteers who helped plan and run the History Hustle. And mostly importantly, thank you to all of the runners and walkers who participated in the History Hustle on Oct. 15.
We look forward to an even bigger and better event next year!
Sue Longshore
St. Lawrence County Historical Association executive director
