Again it has been said another place here in Potsdam tried to change zone and was denied, how can the village board sit before the people and say they don’t spot zone when you certainly do.
Sisson Street was changed from residential to B-1 so Taco Bell could build, Clarkson was changed to B-1 so Mountain Mart can come in and build next to Eben’s on Maple Street. So if you don't spot zone, what do you call it?
When Hank Robar tried to change from B-2 to B-1 for Dunkin Donuts, again he was denied.
The village board needs to sit down and make a rule and stick to it, either you do spot zone or you don't.
I learned a long time ago at a young age if you don't have enough candy for everyone, then don't give it out to anyone.
Shame on all you board members for doing what your doing and thinking it is ok.
