To the Editor:
When I foolishly left my wallet on the roof of my car, it fell off and was not noticed until I got to work I thought it was a total loss.
I even back tracked looking for it along the road. I got a call at work from a woman who said her father had found it.
Not only had he found it but he risked his safety at the intersection with his coworker to retrieve my contents in it while having rude people honk and flip him off during it.
I am so grateful that a perfect stranger would do that for someone when he did not have to.
So a big thank you to the guys at Stickney’s Garage in Potsdam for restoring my faith in humanity.
