To the Editor:
As a current member of the Board of Trustees, and a candidate for re-election I encourage the residents of the Potsdam School district to cast your vote on Wednesday, June 14.
There are two items on the ballot: the first is the request for a one-cent tax increase in the library funding. If you’ve been in the library lately, you will have noticed the many new services for adults and children now being offered. Please stop by and check us out! I promise we have something of interest for you.
The second item is the election of three trustee seats. My colleagues, Erin Cheney and Kathy Love, also up for re-election, share in my love of the library.
We are excited about the changes that are taking place not just in the additional adult and children's programs but the new lighting and more robust online presence. We make it a priority to listen to our patrons' concerns and, if re-elected, will continue our efforts to initiate innovative services that will meet these needs.
I encourage you to cast your vote on Wednesday, June 14 in the basement of the Library.
