To the Editor:
Recently I had the opportunity to sit down and visit with Gary Pasqua, who is running for St. Lawrence County district attorney.
Gary is a well-spoken young man with lots of knowledge and energy. Even though Gary was born downstate, hid wife and gamily have been lifelong residents of St. Lawrence County.
Gary holds many of the same ideals and concerns that I hear from many North Country folks: Working close with local law enforcement, working much closer with local judges, stiffer penalties for repeat felony offends (drug dealers and drug-related robberies), Gary is pro-firearms (does not support SAFE Act and is in favor of less restrictions for gun licenses for qualified persons) and Gary is eager to work closely with his assistant DA’s to put St. Lawrence County’s reputation back on track.
If you are a sportsman in St. Lawrence County, I would urge you to take a very serious look at Gary Pasqua.
