To the Editor:
I have lived in St. Lawrence County for almost 20 years and known Jim Monroe and his family for much of that time. I have always been impressed by their care and concern for the community, democratic ideals, commitment to justice for all people.
Jim’s dedication to these principles has been evidenced by his work as chief assistant district attorney for St. Lawrence County, elected town justice for Canton, acting city judge for Ogdensburg, and criminal and civil attorney practicing in St. Lawrence County for many years. I do believe that Jim’s broad experience in our county makes him the best candidate.
Jim has the skills, knowledge, and dedication to this community required to correct the numerous problems in the current D.A. Office.
His commitment to justice and service will provide an outstanding example for everyone in this county and pride will return to this important office.
Please join me in voting for Jim Monroe next Tuesday, November 7 and we will all see integrity restored to this vital part of our local government.
