Nance Arquiett, a Massena businesswoman who resides in Stockholm, would be a great asset to the constituents in District 11 as their County Legislator.

I have known Nance for years and her ready smile and tireless energy has made her a great mother of four and a successful businesswoman with a willingness to help and work with anyone in the community.

That trait – the willingness to help and work with anyone – is an advantage to all of us in St Lawrence County. If we as a community are to progress, we need the Legislature to take the lead through bipartisan efforts. For too many years, the legislature has been divided by party line which has stymied growth and caused hard feelings.

Arquiett has demonstrated that she can work alongside others and has accomplished so much by doing so. She owns her own firm, Sparrow Consulting, that works with small business owners to improve their marketing and branding.

She also owns The Nest by 2 Mama Birds with her business partner; together they have successfully built their presence from their kitchen table to a brick and mortar store in downtown Massena.

Nance consistently gives back through community service and is actively dedicated to community development. Examples include serving on the Brasher Falls Central School Board, being a member of the Massena Downtown Revitalization Committee, and a Board Member for the Massena Chamber of Commerce. Nance is a visible presence in community events and will be an accessible – and truly representative – Legislator for our County.

Nance will bring her talent, drive, commitment, and business acumen to the County level. Please vote for Nance for District 11 (Stockholm & section of Potsdam) Tuesday Nov. 6.
