To the Editor:
Want to make your vote for county DA count and make sense? Choose someone who already knows the job and has done it before, James Monroe, lawyer here for 26 years who served as both chief assistant and assistant DA.
In addition, he has had judicial experience (town justice in Canton and Ogdensburg City Court) and has served as country prosecuting attorney.
He began cleating the backlog of county cases and restored respect or the office and rule of law.
Another giant plus: He’s lived in the county for most of his life. His twin sons are Canton Central seniors, wit Fran is a teacher there, while his daughter to a college sophomore.
Running for office take time, lots of energy, cash and courage. He’s got my vote.
