To the Editor:
It was disappointing to learn that Potsdam pickleball is on hold. However, we have had a program in Canton for about 6-7 years.
We invite any new or experienced pickleball players to join us in Canton.
The Canton Recreation Department sponsors our program. We have three courts lined for pickleball with official nets. They are located at Priest Field which is behind the Social Services building on Judson Street. We have equipment for those just starting.
We meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. We will begin May 15.
Pickleball is an exciting game and well-suited for seniors. It is an easy game to learn, especial if you have played any other racket sports.
