To the Editor:
I wish to thank classmates and guests for attending the 1945-69 Lisbon class reunion. It was great touring the school with Lisbon Central Superintendent Patrick Farrand. What a beautiful school we have in Lisbon.
Thank you to the Waddington Smokehouse owners, Kevin and Kelly Liddell for catering our meal. It was delicious.
Thank you to Rick Anderson for making three large cakes. They were delicious and each one was different.
Thank you to the country band Steelin’ County for great music of all kinds.
Thank you to the committee for all of the hard work that went into planning of the reunion.
Thank you to the Lisbon Beach director for letting us have our reunion in the pavilion all day Saturday. Thanks to Bob O’Neil and Sharon Putney for helping with that.
May I mention that Lisbon Homecoming was that weekend and we all enjoyed attending their many events. UP Church breakfast, firemen’s chicken barbeque and fireworks, and also the ice cream social at the White Church.
The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed seeing each other and recalling the good old days in Lisbon.
