Opinion: Lifetime memory made for World War II veteran at Clarkson hockey game, says Canton resident

To the Editor:

On Oct. 7 I had the opportunity to attend the Clarkson versus Michigan hockey game with hall of famers and World War II veterans Charles Alexander on Hall of Fame Weekend.

At Clarkson, the professional staff at Cheel is second to none. With Mr. Smalling and Mr. Bartell helping my hero and myself to a very enjoyable evening that will my lifetime.

Even the timekeeper got Charles a padded chair in back of the Clarkson bench.

Thanks for the lifetime memory for myself.

Thanks men for being a first-class act and being you! Charles has followed CU hockey for over 70 years.

A special thanks to Potsdam Laundry & Dry Cleaners (Jeff and Dave Demo) for the tickets for this lifetime memory.
