To the Editor:
I find it interesting that both Tedra Cobb and Rep. Elise Stefanik are trying to convince what each other has or has not done for us.
Personally I like the term “Taxing Tedra”. Maybe it fits her and maybe it doesn’t.
I do know that the Democrats controlled the county legislature during Cobb’s tenure for the early part of the 2000’s.
I also know that once the Republicans gained control around 2010; we, as taxpayers, had to borrow a total of nearly $64,000,000 to just balance our county budget for the next several years at the tune of about $100,000 dollars interest each year.
You can vote with your heart and/or with the facts.
Before you vote ask yourself one question: How’s your 401 been doing these past two years?
