To the Editor:
The Hopkinton Food Pantry was a success in 2016: the directors of the Hopkinton Food Pantry wish to thank all those who have helped support our program over the years.
Our volunteer workers each month make it possible to set up and distribute. The pantry supplements those in the Hopkinton, Fort Jackson and Nicholville areas, as well as those who live closer to our pantry than any other.
Our pantry is the second Friday of every month at the Hopkinton Town Hall between 10-11:30 a.m. We provide food, purchased with donated monies, as well as clothing, books, toys, misc. items that
people donate to our cause. All are free to our patrons.
The food provided is patron's choice; we allow them to choose what food they will use. Our town board allows us the use of the town hall during set-up and distribution times; we thank them for this, as we have no permanent site.
Hopkinton Congregational Church allows us to be under their non-profit 501c3, which opens avenues of revenues previously denied.
To our many donors: Thank you so much for your community spirit. Without you, we would not be viable. We appreciate your trust in us.
