To the Editor:
I did not know Corey Moore or Gregg Williams. However, I knew Rod Cota.
Rod was your average family man. He was a hard-working man, a loving husband, a thoughtful and caring father.
I’m sure he worried as most fathers do about the bills, his family members and how to juggle his job(s) along with his love for helping others.
Not only did Rod commit many hours as a volunteer to aid his fellow man, he gave up precious hours from his family to train to be qualified to be this dedicated volunteer.
I am not gifted enough to put into words the many thanks owed to Rod Cota and his family for his dedication in serving his community and its members who needed him most.
As I mentioned earlier, I did not know Corey Moore or Gregg Williams. Somehow I think their dedication in helping others was very similar to Rod’s.
Rod, Corey and Gregg: Thank you faithful servants.
Job well done.
