I do not remember any time when most people were of the opinion that New Yorkers paid too little in taxes.
I can’t remember ever hearing someone say, “ I wish the state would raise my tax burden.”
With that in mind, what makes people think that we can afford Tedra Cobb? Maybe supporters of Cobb, could voluntarily pay a little extra tax.
Apparently, they don’t mind, and it would give relief to families that struggle to pay the tax burden we currently live with.
