To the Editor:
I am writing in support of Mary Ann Ashley as she runs for Canton Town Supervisor. Having worked with Mary Ann in various capacities over the years, I know that she personifies the term public servant. I have witnessed first hand how she listens to all stakeholders, pays attention to details, and works to bring divergent groups together.
Read through Mary Ann’s plans at her Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/AshleyforCantonTownSupervisor/) and you can see her specific plans for the town. She has thought deeply about what changes are needed and how to go about making those changes. With her experience as a village trustee and as Mayor, Mary Ann has demonstrated her ability to achieve goals in a manner that is open, accessible, and collaborative. She understands that the town functions best when Canton residents, the town board, and the Supervisor work together.
Mary Ann will bring diligence, transparency, compassion, and a mission to be fiscally responsible to the Supervisor’s office. Mary Ann’s personal integrity is of the highest level, and I know she will conduct the town’s business in an open, ethical manner. This is what Canton needs right now.
Please take time to vote on November 7th and elect Mary Ann Ashley Canton’s next Town Supervisor.
