To the Editor:
I have known Mary Ann Ashley for the past 38 years. I have always known her to be a very hardworking, determined and fair individual. We are both proud alumni of SUNY Canton and have remained friends ever since.
Although I am not a resident of the town of Canton, my family can attest to her character, honesty and integrity. She continues to be very supportive of others and will always listen with compassion.
Mary Ann's record speaks for itself in making things better for individuals, her community and future generations. I believe the people of Canton are very fortunate to have someone with her background wanting to serve the people again. She did a great job as a school board member, a village trustee and as Mayor.
Coming out of retirement to serve as Town of Canton supervisor is the Mary Ann I have always known. She simply cannot stop the passion for public service.
Make the right decision and vote for Mary Ann Ashley, Town of Canton Supervisor, November 7, 2017.
