To the Editor:
It looks like the never-ending presidential election cycle is about to end with the final decision, whatever that may be.
One thing that can’t be said about the top two candidates is that there is no choice. One candidate clearly wants to move the country forward. The other wants to move the country backward.
Let’s see where either might take us. The “forward” candidate is so dedicated to the forward direction that the label “progressive” applies. Ah, yes. Progressive. Progressives are making progress toward tyranny and national suicide. The progressive has been endorsed by that racist group that advocates killing all police. Progressives want to bring the Christian religion more in line with the political thinking in DC. Forward! Yes!
The other candidate wants to take the country back. Back to a time when we were trusted by our friends and feared by those who would destroy us.
Back to a time when this nation was an industrial and financial power player. Back to a time when the Constitution was strictly followed and laws meant what they said. Back to a time when armies of unvetted and unknown immigrants did not pour across our borders.
Backward! Yes!
The question is: Are you voting forward or backward?
