To the Editor:
I am writing in support of Kevin Mulverhill for Assembly for the 115th District.
I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin a few years ago when my son did an internship with Franklin County Emergency Services.
Based on our various interactions, I have the confidence that he has the character, competency, commitment, and local concern we all need in a public official.
Kevin has stated that a major reason for seeking the Assembly position is to continue with a career in public service to improve the lives of people living and working in our communities. He currently serves on several committees including Stop Domestic Violence, Suicide Prevention, Community Intervention Program and others.
He is involved with Malone Rotary Club and is a past Chairman of the Franklin County Traffic Safety Board. On the Safety Board he introduced many programs to help decrease the number of drunk drivers on our highways.
In addition to these committees, he works to educate youth and implementing programs that discourage young people from abusing alcohol and illegal drugs
Mr. Mulverhill is an excellent candidate to replace Janet Duprey in Albany. He is an effective and ethical leader who will represent the North Country.
