To the Editor:
Operation Christmas Child's National Collection Week ended Nov. 21, during which Potsdam and surrounding area residents generously contributed to First Assembly of God's collection of more than 9,500 gift-filled shoeboxes for children in need.
This year's gift collection from Potsdam and surrounding areas is an increase over last year's collection of gifts. Operation Christmas Child volunteers are now thanking the community for their gift donations that are already on their way to children in need worldwide.
