The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who helped make our third annual Ogtoberfest a success!

A special “thank you” to Mort Backus & Sons who sponsored the fireworks provided by Majestic Fireworks and AJ Missert’s who provided the beer and the tent for the Beer Garden. Thank you to Bill Hosmer and Hosmer’s Marina who sponsored the Beer Garden and his staff Andrea Duvall and Megan Law who helped serve beer. We were honored to have Mayor Bill Nelson and John Missert help Lee Jones and Sean McNamara pour the first glass to “kick off” our Ogtoberfest in style!

Thank you to our other generous sponsors: Parkway Ford; NYSCOBPA; Blevins Bros.; Kimro’s; St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union; Fox-Murray Funeral Home; Frary’s Funeral Home; Howie’s; Phillip’s Diner; Sully’s Tavern; Howland Pump; Jreck’s Subs; Jones Ins.; P & T Car Wash; Pinto, Mucenski, Hooper and VanHouse; The Cutting Edge Salon; Wells Car Wash; Wilder-Forsythe Ins. Thank you to our musician’s Allexa Hooper and Amy Rivera for performing and YESFM/QCountry – Matt George and Storm Kennedy for the live remote! Thank you to Kayli Harridine from the Remington Kid’s Place for the arts and crafts and Maggie Gebo for providing face painting for the kids!!

Thank you to the following vendors who battled the rain – the Ogdensburg GreenMarket; Ft. LaPresentation; MJ’s Candles; RiverMyst Winery; Thousand Island Winery; Zahler’s Maple; Parkway Ford and Big River Grill & Chill.

Thank you to our volunteers – Betty Woods who worked admissions; Ann Proesser who worked in the Beer Garden and Maureen Brashaw who helped us clean up. Thank you to Wayne Ramsey who loaned us his audio equipment!

A special thank you to the Ogtoberfest Committee who worked and organizedour event – Lee Jones and Sean McNamara co-chairs – Mike Thayer; Bill Hosmer; John Pinkerton; Lisa Hirsch; Derek VanHouse; Steve Hawes; John Morrison; Ken Gardner; Lori Smithers; Megan Smithers; Judy Ryan; Don Tebo; Tina McCallus; Mike Brashaw; Josh Amo; Slip Amo; Barb O’Keefe; Rhonda Roethel. Thanks to Chamber Board members and staff who also worked in the rain -- Alex Augsbury; Michele Catlin; Bill Seymour; Cheryl Seymour; Melissa Lalonde; Dawn Merz and Brandi Jones.

A warm thanks to Matt Curatolo and his staff at City Recreation – especially Andy, John and Chelsea who helped during the Ogtoberfest.

Unfortunately, we were not able to have Seaway Valley Jumpers set up their bounce house or Shades of Amber play music but we are hopeful that next year the weather will cooperate with us! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3rd, 2015!
