To the Editor:
At the closing of a busy holiday week, I would like to take the time to thank all those who helped make our Fourth of July special for the boys of Pack 40 Norwood.
Bob Myers of Bob’s Auto and 24 hour towing, Norwood, for lending us the smooth ride, Jody Wenzel of McDuff’s, in Potsdam, for the decorations to dress that ride American style, and Kevin and Larry from Coke inc, Malone, for the awesome “Welcome Back” banners.
Also, a big thank you to Sue Perry, Perry’s Big M, Norwood, for the hydration to keep the boy’s whistles wet, Norwood Kiwanis for all their support as the packs charter organization, and of course, all the parents and volunteers that pitched in together to make this dream into a reality.
Pack 40 has launched to a very strong start, I, for one, am very glad to see scouting active in Norwood/Norfolk and the surrounding areas.
Anyone interested in joining or for info about Pack 40 can contact me, Dan Peacock, Cubmaster Pack 40 at 353-6198.
