To the Editor:
As a former resident of the Norwood area, it was a pleasure to return to view the Norwood Fourth of July parade. Robert Haggett and his committee are to be commended on their hard work to put together such a parade and to those fire departments community organizations and other participants, you are to be congratulated as well.
As a parade official, I travel throughout the state and find that the Norwood parade ranks near the top of the parades I have recently seen.
I know that this parade fell short for a few years but know that it has vastly improved because of the hard work of the community and fire department.
Again, my congratulations and keep up the go work to make the 77th annual event a success.
