The Neighborhood Outreach Program wishes to thank community members, organizations, local churches and individuals for their time, talents and support throughout the 2018 calendar year. It is with great pleasure that we report 324 people were helped through our Christmas Give-Away Program.
Through your generosity, the program was able to supply 109 families and 134 children with food boxes that included non-perishable items and vouchers for a turkey or chicken and fresh fruits and vegetables. Hand-knit hats, mittens, scarves, new socks, underwear, new toys and a surprised wrapped gift were given to each child.
In addition, monetary donations were sued to purchase school supplies for the students in the NNCS district. Help would also be given to the school nurse if other supplies were needed.
Every year we ask for the support of our local community members, like yourselves, and each year we are impressed and grateful with the response we receive. It is your kindness, generosity and continued hard work that enable us to help so many.
Thank you for supporting our important program and making it a success.
