To the Editor:
The Town of Norfolk recently underwent a project at our softball field on Clinton Street to replace the backstop and the sideline fence.
I would like to thank a few people for their help. Buddy Fiacco from TJ Fiacco Construction for his donation of the backstop and for his generous support of the Norfolk Recreation Department.
Kevin Gamble from St. Lawrence Fence Co. for the donation of the fencing fabric for the backstop and for the excellent work he did with the installation.
Mike Northrup of Northern Hilltop Nursery for the hydroseeding that was done and for the two trees he donated for the Town Hall. Councilman Bob
Harvey for taking time out of his workday to operate the bulldozer. Butch Lavigne and Ronnie Bombard for their continued dedication to our recreation program. Larry Villnave and the highway crew, who as they always do, did an excellent job bringing this project to completion.
Once again, a big thank you to everyone for their help in our quest to improve all aspects of our town and our recreational facilities.
Charles A. Pernice, Norfolk Supervisor
