Nearly $5,000 raised for Wounded Warrior Foundation

Posted

To the Editor:

This year, the American Legion Riders from Post #925 (Norfolk) held a charity motorcycle ride to benefit the Wounded Warrior Program of the 10th Mountain Division of Watertown.

We were able to present a check to them for $4,840. Raising this much money for such a good cause would not have been possible without the wonderful support of our communities and the dedicated work of our members.

We would like to acknowledge the selfless contributions that were made by the following individuals, organizations and local businesses: American Legion Post 925, Norfolk; American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 1479, Hogansburg; AMVETs Post 265, Parishville; AMVETs Post 1997, Heuvelton; Bassette’s Liquor and Wines, Baxter’s One Stop Auto, Best Western, Brewer Bookstore at SLU, Canton Auto Parts, AL and Linda Carpenter, Cascade Inn, Coakley’s, Copperhead Cycle, Custom Oil Change, Donna’s Hair Studio, Emlaw Tire and Auto Repair, Fabulous Finds Boutique and Consignment, Hotel Grande, Lowe’s of Potsdam, J.C. Merrimans, Mike’s Trophies, Moody River Cycle, Nana’s Kitches, Lois Pernice, Price Chopper of Potsdam, Ron Prutzman, Jim Redmore, Rex/Radio Shack, Riverside Liqors, RiverPark Family Medicine of Massena, Tom Robinson, Sabad’s Restaurant, Shollette’s Redemption Center, Skip U-Haul, Al Smith Pizzeria, Snell’s Citgo, Robin Snider, Sparky’s, Star Route Auto, SUNY Canton Bookstore, Trailside Bar, Triple A Building Center in Canton, Victory Shop, White’s Flowers, the Wounder Warrior Foundations and Ye Olde Liquors.

Thank you so very much.

Marc LoGalbo,

President, American Legion Riders Post 925 of Norfolk
